Serving the marine needs of Quadra Island since 1984, Cape Mudge Boatworks employs six full-term people, and depending upon the season, some additional seasonal help. We end up losing most of our workers due to retirement instead of them leaving to go somewhere else, which goes to show how wonderful it is to be a part of our team.

We Really Care about Our Community

Cape Mudge Boatworks really cares about the Quadra Island community. When you live on an island, you take the work that comes your way and the community depends upon you to help out however and whenever you are able. While boating is our priority, we readily take on other projects as they come to us.

Many of Our Customers are Personal Friends

If we promise we’re going to do something, we stay on schedule and task. As such, we’ve built an ever-growing list of long-term customers from Canada and America that we’re proud to consider close, personal friends. We give out wonderful Christmas cards that are done by local artists that people seem to love.
